We are currently conducting field trials on a new product designed to assist with the easy disposal of ticks.  At present there are plenty of effective tick removal tools but there is a gap in the market for a device for disposing of a tick once removed.  Our new product is designed to allow one handed use and enable users to entrap ticks in a portable, lightweight device which will be fully biodegradable.  Our device ensures permanent removal of the tick without coming into contact with it and without simply releasing again which would give it the opportunity to breed and increase the number of ticks.
